Hellobreeder Overview
Hellobreeder functions as a social platform for the animal community, combining discussions, directories, listings, and resources all in one place.
Members can interact, share information, promote their programs, and connect with other breeders, pet owners, and animal professionals.
Community Stream
The Community Stream is the central activity feed of Hellobreeder.
This is where members interact, share updates, ask questions, and connect with the animal community.
Members can:
• Post updates
• Share photos and videos
• Create polls
• Add backgrounds to posts
• Like posts
• Comment on posts
• Save posts for later
• Follow other members
• Send and accept friend requests
• Share posts
You can also switch your feed to display:
• Everyone on the platform
• Friends only
This allows you to customize the content you see.
Hashtags
Hashtags help organize content across the platform.
Members can add hashtags to posts to make them searchable.
Examples include:
• #Dachshund
• #Horse
• #DogBreeder
• #DogTraining
• #CatRescue
Clicking a hashtag will show all posts containing that tag, making it easier to find discussions related to specific topics.
Private Messaging
Private messaging allows members to communicate directly with each other.
Members use private messaging to:
• Ask questions
• Discuss animals or services
• Connect with other breeders
• Communicate with buyers or clients
• Build relationships within the community
Member Directory
The Member Directory allows you to browse all members on Hellobreeder.
You can search by:
• Members you follow
• Members you do not follow
• Member roles such as breeder, rescue, transporter, pet services, or community member
• Location or state
This helps you connect with others within the animal community.
Business Pages
Verified Breeders can create a Business Page to showcase their breeding program.
Business pages allow you to:
• Display your program information
• Share updates and photos
• Promote your breeding program
• Build credibility with potential buyers
Always look for the verification badge on business pages to identify verified members.
Groups
Groups allow members to connect around shared interests.
Examples include:
• Breed groups
• Regional groups
• Educational discussions
• Animal communities
Anyone can join groups, but a verified membership is required to create and manage groups.
Events
The Events section allows members to create and promote events.
Examples include:
• Dog shows
• Meetups
• Training seminars
• Educational workshops
• Breeder events
• Community gatherings
Verified members can create events for the community.
Suggestions
The Suggestions feature allows members to submit ideas for improving Hellobreeder.
Suggestions appear in the community feed where other members can:
• View the suggestion
• Vote on it
• Support improvements to the platform
Listing Directory
The Listing Directory allows users to browse various listings on Hellobreeder.
Listings may include:
• Animal listings
• Pet services
• Marketplace items
Listings created by verified members may also appear within the community feed, giving them additional visibility.
Store Directory
The Store Directory features vendors who sell products through HelloBreeder.
Products may include:
• Pet supplies
• Grooming equipment
• Breeding equipment
• Animal care products
Verified members can become vendors and sell products through the platform.
Advertising on Hellobreeder
Verified breeders have a dedicated Advertise on Hellobreeder section where they can create and manage listings.
Inside this tab you will find the following options.
Animal Listings
Animal listings allow you to advertise animals available through your breeding program.
You can create listings for:
• Puppies
• Kittens
• Horses
To create an animal listing:
Animal listings appear in the Listing Directory and within the community feed.
Manage Listings
The Manage Listings section allows you to view and edit your listings.
From this section you can:
• Edit listing information
• Update availability
• Add or remove photos
• Remove listings when animals are no longer available
Job Listings
Verified breeders can post job listings related to animal care.
Examples include:
• Kennel assistants
• Farm help
• Grooming assistants
• Training positions
To post a job:
Event Listings
Verified breeders can create events for the community.
To create an event:
Events will appear in the Events section.
Pet Service Listings
Breeders can also create service listings for services they offer.
Examples include:
• Stud services
• Training services
• Grooming services
• Boarding services
To create a service listing:
Marketplace Listings
Marketplace listings allow members to sell items related to animals.
Examples include:
• Pet supplies
• Equipment
• Grooming tools
• Animal care products
To create a listing:
Becoming a Vendor
Verified breeders can become vendors in order to sell products through the HelloBreeder store.
To become a vendor:
Once approved, the following sections will appear in user profile tabs (They already appear in header/sidebar) :
• My Store Dashboard
• My Store Orders
My Store Dashboard
The Store Dashboard allows vendors to manage their store.
From the dashboard you can:
• Add products
• Edit product listings
• Manage inventory
• Track orders
• View sales activity
My Store Orders
The Store Orders section shows all orders placed through your store.
You can:
• View order details
• Track order status
• Manage shipments
• Communicate with buyers
Tools
The Tools section includes helpful breeder tools available on HelloBreeder.
Current tools include:
• Calendar
• Litter Dashboard
These tools help breeders organize and track important information related to their breeding program.
Important note:
The tools currently store data within your browser.
If your browser data or cache is cleared, the saved information may also be removed.
For best results, avoid clearing browser storage while actively using these tools.
